Hi There!

I'm Leona Harvie, a Divorce Coach Helping You to Navigate Divorce and Thrive at Every Stage.

I believe everyone going through divorce can grow, heal, and thrive beyond it.

I believe that anyone navigating separation or divorce—especially after a relationship marked by control, manipulation, or abuse—deserves support, safety, and the chance to rebuild on their own terms. Taking that first step can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to face it alone. With the right guidance and clarity, you can move forward at your own pace, in a way that truly feels right for you.

Divorce isn’t the end of your story—it’s the start of a new chapter where you reclaim your voice and write your next steps. You deserve peace, happiness, and the freedom to thrive. I’m here to walk beside you as you begin again.

I used to be where you are

I became a Divorce Coach because I saw how easily separation can leave good people feeling confused, pressured, and uncertain about what to do next. Decisions that affect children, finances, and daily life often have to be made at the very moment we feel least prepared.

Before this work, I built my career in the corporate world in business-to-business sales. Experiencing my own divorce showed me how significant the gap is in the way individuals are supported through separation. The moment someone says, “I’m separating,” the system directs them straight to a lawyer—yet only a small portion of the process truly requires legal advice. The rest involves emotional, practical, and day-to-day decisions that most people could navigate with the right guidance, rather than exhausting their savings on a process that was never designed to support the whole person.

That realization led me back to school, where I became an Accredited & Certified Divorce Coach and Family Law Mediator. I developed a deep passion for helping others through one of life’s most difficult transitions—so they can get to the other side, move forward, and build a life that feels stable, hopeful, and their own again.

I saw too many people—especially those in high-conflict or abusive dynamics—feeling alone, overwhelmed, and financially drained long before they reached any resolution. I kept thinking: there has to be a better way. People shouldn’t lose the shirt off their back simply because they are facing separation or trying to leave a harmful situation.

My work is grounded in practical support. I help clients organize information, prepare for professional meetings, improve communication, and navigate conflict without being consumed by it. I support parents and non-parents, men and women, and individuals separating from marriage or common-law relationships.

Having walked through my own challenging transition, I understand the emotional weight of this process—but my role is not to relive that story. It is to help you write yours with greater clarity, confidence, and stability.

Fun facts:

#1: Coffee in the Morning, Tea in the Afternoon

I firmly believe the right drink sets the tone for the day! My mornings start with coffee, but by afternoon, you’ll find me sipping a herbal tea. Balance, right?

#2: Proud Autism Mom

My incredible son has Autism, and being his mom has been the greatest joy of my life. I took a 30-hour Autism Certificate Course several years ago to better support and advocate for him and others.

#3: animal Lover & Proud Dog Mom

Our home is filled with love thanks to our two dogs, who are the sweetest and kindest souls. They bring so much joy to our family, and I truly believe life is better with furry friends!

#4: fearless advocate

I’m a fearless advocate for legislative reform and access to justice. My work includes raising awareness of Intimate Partner Violence and Coercive Control, advocating for Bill C-233 (Keira’s Law), and contributing to key initiatives with the NSRLP and the University of Windsor’s Law School and much more.
